Sell Us Your Empty Cartridges
Keep our Landfills and America clean, sell us your empty cartridges.
It's no surprise and a know fact that hundreds of thousands of
these ink cartridges find their
way to the landfills each year. Aside from not being very environmentally friendly, It's a
plain waste!
We will purchase them from you for $1.00 ea. (unless
otherwise marked). There is one catch though;
they have to be first time "virgin" empties and not prior refills. Look below
for the list of cartridges
that we purchase. If you do not see your particular cartridge on our list, drop us a line
to see if we are interested.
Aprox. 60% (or better) of every home has a computer and the number
is growing everyday. The
majority of all those systems have a printer, which means cartridges, which in turn means
money
for you! You just need to find out where they are all located. Look below for a few
suggestions.
Tips to accumulate cartridges:
Contact your local School district to see if they will collect them for you.
Offer younger children and teenagers in your neighborhood a "finders fee" for collecting them for you.
For a few dollars you can run an add in your local paper.
Most Hospitals and smaller Doctors offices are recycle conscience and probably would collect them for you.
Almost every Church or Rectory has an office that can donate.
Use your local environment to your advantage.
Instructions:
Proper preparation of the cartridges for shipment or storing them while you are waiting to get enough together to make a shipment worth your while, is very important. After accumulating some cartridges you will need to take a piece of scotch tape (preferably) and place it over the printhead (where the ink exits the cartridge) on the Black cartridges and place them in a zip lock baggie. For the Color cartridges, simply place them in a zip lock baggie and place a wet paper towel in along with them. DO NOT place a piece of tape on the color cartridges. Doing this sometimes causes the ink to cross over in to the other chambers by a process called "capillary action". When this happens it cross contaminates the colors and pretty much renders the cartridge useless. When you are ready to send them to us, simply box them up and place packing material (Styrofoam peanuts etc...) in the box to fill in the space and send them to:

After we receive them, we will issue a Company check to cover the cartridges plus the shipping charges you incurred in sending them to us. If you send them via the Postal Service, the shipping charge will appear on the stamp. If you send them via UPS (cheaper), we ask that you please send a copy of the shipping receipt showing what you paid or we will have to weigh the package and run the calculation through UPS's shipping program so that we know what to pay you. All cartridges sent need to be shipped via "Ground", "Parcel Post" or cheapest means possible. If they are not, we will only reimburse via of the cheapest method calculated. Please DO NOT forget to enclose your name (To whom the check will be made out to) and you mailing address. Below is a list of cartridges that we purchase.
